What a spectacle the Gold Coast Indy has now become for the City of the Gold Coast. With just a couple of months to go before the rubber begins burning on the Gold Coast streets, this mega event is set to become the most popular motor event in Australia. Credit should go of course to the organisers, however its the people of the Gold Coast that this event belongs to.

Without the support of the residents of the Gold Coast, the Mum's and Dad's, men and women who have attended the event over the past ten years or more there would not have been the success that has occurred.

We all like a party - and though motoring events are not everyone's interest, the Gold Coast sits firmly in the knowledge that Indy Car has helped put the Gold Coast on the World Map.
